2015 Peace Parade Agenda & Photos
Secondary Students- opening followed by singing “What a Wonderful World”
Good morning. Welcome to the Peace Parade.
Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on September 21.
The United Nations General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.
The theme of this year’s commemoration is “Partnerships for Peace – Dignity for All”.
This year’s theme is designed to highlight the importance of all segments of society to work together to strive for peace.
To honor this day of peace, students from Montessori School at Hampstead now have some special presentations.

A land filled with equality.
Oh, Dr. King, he had a dream,
A dream of peace and freedom.
Pledge to the Earth ~ Aline D. Wolf
I promise to be good to the earth
And all life on this planet –
All growing things,
All kinds of animals,
And all races of people.
I promise to protect all life on our planet,
To live in harmony with nature,
And to share everything fairly,
So that all people can live with one another
In good health and in peace.
